"Oh, Grandma, what big teeth you've got!"

This jigsaw puzzle made from poplar wood illustrates the French story of "Little Red Riding Hood" written by Charles Perrault. The finely shaped hand-crafted pieces follow the characters and colours of the picture. So the sky pieces are shaped like clouds and the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle frame are long to help the child begin the puzzle. The zippered bag contains 24 pieces and the story. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests in Europe.

Charles Perrault retold in his Tales of Mother Goose in 1697 the stories he had culled from oral tradition. A little girl goes through the forest to visit her grandmother with a pot of butter and some cakes. She meets a clever and wicked wolf on the way.
