'But Grandmother! What big teeth you have!'

This box holds a candle, home fragrance and small fairy tale book. You can read your children Little Red Riding Hood by candlelight. The candle or spray gives off a scent that will plunge you into the fairy tale's forest mood. You'll smell undergrowth, moss, lily-of-the-valley, bark and berries.

Little Red Riding Hood is one of the eight prose fairy tales in the French oral tradition that Charles Perrault wrote down in his 1697 collection Contes de ma mère l'Oye, which he dedicated to Élisabeth Charlotte d'Orléans, Louis XIV's youngest niece.

The natural wax candle, which comes in a mouth-blown glass from Italy, burns 65 to 70 hours. When the Maison Trudon was named Manufacture Royale de Cire (Royal Wax-Maker) in 1715, it became the Court of Versailles' official supplier. Trudon's archives hold old bleaching tools with the words 'Night candles for the King' on them.
