Gérard Mabille is chief curator at Versailles, he nourishes a personal passion for the field of Marly. He wrote the long introduction to the book in which he tells the story of the area from 1679, when the first work being undertaken there.

Louis Benech is a landscape architect in France and abroad. He has participated in the restoration and redevelopment of the Tuileries Garden. He studies the planting of trees and flowers, which have succeeded in Marly.

Stéphane Castelluccio is a CNRS researcher in the fields of interiors, furniture, art objects and collections in France in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. His publications include "Marly Gardens under the reign of Louis XIV, The River Marly, Marly: an instrument of power enchanting ... Based on watercolors commissioned by Louis XIV, it details here and successive creations various developments that altered the gardens all along his reign.
