Bartabas invites us to discover the extraordinary destiny of the Chevalier de Saint-George, a mulatto and an exceptional man renowned for his multiple talents as a violinist, fencer and horse rider. Famous during the reign of Louis XVI, he was later forgotten for a period of two centuries. Drawing inspiration from his colourful personality, Bartabas’ show brings this knightly hero back to life, with more than 50 horses and equerries as well as fireworks, percussionists, actors, dancers and musicians.
