This 250-piece wooden jigsaw puzzle is illustrated with the painting of Marie-Antoinette de Lorraine-Habsbourg (1755-1793) by Madame Vigée Le Brun.

Louis XVI had a games room set up in the King’s Private Apartments to replace Louis XIV’s Cabinet of Curiosities. Guests went there for coffee after a meal. Louis XVI played trictrac, while his brothers went to the billiards table or played whist in the next room.
