This make up bag is part of a limited series made from banners of the exhibition “18th century, Birth of design”. Hand-picked and cut, each piece in this collection is unique.

The exhibition “18th century, Birth of design” was presented at the Palace of Versailles from October 28th 2014 to February 22nd 2015. This exhibition was an opportunity for visitors to discover a 100 furntiure masterpieces, created between 1650 and 1790, and to showcase the innovative and avant-garde nature of the shapes, techniques, decorations and materials used in 18th century furniture.

These make up bags are manufactured by the eco-design company Bilum in workshops specialising in saddlery, leather goods and luggage. Apart from being sponge cleaned on each side, the exhibition banners received no further processing.
