Wall lamp like in the Château

130,00

This hand-made white wall lamp with ecru-coloured laid paper is trapezoid in shape and illustrated with baroque-style calligraphic designs. It requires a bulb of 60 Watts maximum and is plugged into a 220 V wall socket. A majestic chandelier with four candles decorates the lampshade.

In Versailles, candles were one of the most expensive items of the palace budget. Their light was a luxury at this time. In one evening, up to 25,000 candles could be used.
