Very appreciated by the Court of Versailles, almonds where introduced to the table of Louis XIV under the influence of the Marquise de Sévigné.

This traditional jam can be enjoyed at breakfast, for an afternoon snack, with a dessert, on a yoghurt or cooked in delicious sweet and sour recipes. It can also be served with cheese.
