This rose petal jam is flavoured and cooked with Provins rose petals.

The rose is the flower that is most often associated with Marie-Antoinette.
Even today, the Trianon gardens are decorated with moss roses.
This rose variety can be seen in the famous portrait of Marie-Antoinette with a Rose, painted by her favourite painter, Elisabeth Vigée-Lebrun.
