This fine jelly is flavoured with Ladurée’s “Marie-Antoinette” tea.
Tea was expensive in the 18th century as it had to be imported. Drinking it gave one a prestigious image. It was also linked to the rise of new public establishments, such as cafés, and new habits, such as breakfast and afternoon snacks, which slowly spread throughout society.
Ingredients: cane sugar, water, Marie-Antoinette tea (3%), gelling agent: fruit pectin, acidifier: citric acid (E330).
