This tea towel in red and cream Toile de Jouy is illustrated with the fours seasons. Spring, summer, autumn and winter are represented through scenes of country life.

Created at the workshops of the Jouy-en-Josas manufacture in 1759, Toile de Jouy is a cotton fabric with printed patterns representing rural scenes and landscapes. Usually monochrome, the print is on a beige background.
