This cardboard drawing portfolio is illustrated with a stage set representing the Camp of Agamemnon, a watercolour from the collections of the Comédie-Française. It is kept closed by a red elastic band. It exists also in large format.

Founded in 1680 by Louis XIV, the Comédie-Française is the oldest and the most famous theatrical institutions in France. Here is a mnemonic for remembering the names of the most famous authors of the 17th century: 'Sur la racine de la bruyère, la corneille boit l'eau de la fontaine Molière' (Racine, La Bruyère, Corneille, Boileau, La Fontaine, Molière).
