5,90

This document sleeve reproduces 18th-century engravings by artists Louis Desrais, Deny Desrais, Leclerc Bacquoy and J. Pelicier. The front represents the new Circassian in Italian Gauze and Marie-Antoinette in a Court dress. The back is illustrated with an elegant pouf called “La Victoire” and an ample French dress.

Parisian fashion changed greatly in the 18th century. The choice of clothes became denser and more diverse. The fashion press played a great role in these changes thanks to engravings that inspired women’s clothing.
