The atmosphere of boudoirs

The tender scent of verbena and the sharpness of lemon of this candle evoke the spirit of the conversations of Madame de Pompadour. This natural wax candle is contained in a small rock-coloured glass blown by artisans in Italy. The candle will burn for 65 to 70 hours.

Madame de Pompadour, the favourite of King Louis XV, was a very learned woman. She encouraged the Enlightenment movement and notably the publication of the first volumes of the Encyclopaedia of Diderot and d'Alembert.
