A graceful blue ceramic candlestick

This splendid candlestick will adorn your table and your summer parties with refinement. It is decorated with a period blue plant pattern.

The festivities put on in honour of the Sun King were sumptuous ones. In the gardens, the light of candles was reflected in the water of the groves and fountains. Up to 25,000 candles could be used for one evening's entertainment. At nightfall from June to August, come along to admire the Musical Fountains Show in Versailles which reproduce in the summer the marvellous festivities organised in the reign of Louis XIV in the gardens of Versailles.
