A hunting souvenir

This matte aluminium tabletop lamp base features a stag's head that will give your home a 'back from the hunt' ambiance. It comes without a lampshade. We advise you to use a 25cm-diameter shade to give the lamp a classic shape. A 20cm-diameter shade is perfectly suitable for a more cylindrical effect. Do not use light bulbs stronger than 40 watts.

Hunting was one of the Bourbons' favourite sports. Nearly every day Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI enjoyed hunting on the grounds of Versailles, which were 10 times bigger than they are today.
