This press stud notebook is inspired by the famous Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Versailles.
The Hall of Mirrors contains 357 mirrors adorning the 17 arches facing the windows. Once called the Great Gallery, it was used daily by courtiers and visitors as a passageway and a place for waiting and meeting people. It only played host to ceremonies on rare occasions, when the sovereign wanted to add a touch of the finest splendour to diplomatic receptions or entertainment (balls or games) held for princely weddings.
This notebook shows a close-up view of one of the chandeliers in the Hall of Mirrors.
