A source of inspiration
This collection of cards, an invitation to take an elegant stroll in a reinvented garden, lets you discover 18th-century topiary patterns combined with metal gilt with thin gold. Each card comes with a double page and an envelope. There are six different models.
The illustrations, originally made with black pencil and red chalk, are from an album called Décoration intérieure et jardins de Versailles, an early 18th-century collection of 58 red-chalk counter-proofs involving the decoration and furnishings of royal, princely or private residences. The manuscript has been in the Château de Versailles' collections since 1934.
