Notebook "Dames de la Cour" - Madame Victoire

5,50

This elegant notebook is illustrated with a portrait of Marie-Louise-Thérèse-Victoire de France, also known as Madame Victoire, the fifth daughter of Louis XV. She is 14 years old. This portrait of the princess is one of the many portraits painted by Jean-Marc Nattier (1685-1766), the official court portraitist to the royal family. The patterns on the notebook reproduce the tapestries in Madame Victoire's bedroom, located in the apartments of Mesdames.

The "Dames de la Cour" collection uses portraits of the famous Ladies of the court put on a flowery background, reminiscent of the Palace's tapestries.
