This visual tour is carried out via six fictional letters written in 1686 by a young nobleman from Bergerac who writes home to his sister about his discovery of the palace of the Sun King and the court where he lives. Each letter features a scene and a key moment in the life of Versailles at this period (the king's bedroom for his levee, the gardens, the king's dinner, the ball in the Hall of Mirrors, etc.), which are presented successively in six large pop-ups of exceptional quality.
