Since 2019, as part of its Estate management plan and ecological approach, the Palace of Versailles installed eight beehives on the Estate of Trianon, in the Queen's Vegetable Garden. Now you can taste the honey from the 2022 harvest: sweet, smooth, liquid and licorious!
The honey is produced by black bees from the Ile-de-France region, so it is also helping to safeguard local species and promote biodiversity.
