A collector's quartet

The box contains 4 lead figurines 5cm high: Louis XIV on horseback, Mme de Maintenon (Louis XIV's secret wife), Mme de Montespan (a mistress of Louis XIV) and a soldier (Swiss Guard of Louis XVI), each one accompanied by a detailed description.

The figurines are all cast, mounted and minutely painted by hand based on ages-old processes combining traditional craftsmanship and know-how. Founded in 1785 in Paris and installed since 1994 in Anjou, CBG Mignot has perpetuated for over two hundred years the great tradition of lead soldiers.

This box is in a limited series numbered 1 to 50.
